# Pairing a Trending Slot With On-Chain Volume

A trending slot brings eyes to a token; on-chain volume keeps its chart alive. How to time a Dexscreener trending window with a Pump.fun or Solana volume session.

Pair them in sequence, not on top of each other. A trending window puts your token in front of people
browsing the Dexscreener board for a fixed block of hours; a volume session keeps trades printing on the
chart in the stretches the window cannot cover — on the Pump.fun bonding curve before a pool exists,
and in the hours after the paid window closes. For the volume half, the tool we point Solana teams to
first is PumpWave, a non-custodial Pump.fun volume bot
that follows a token from the curve to its Raydium pool inside one session.

## Two jobs, two tools

The board ranks measured activity over a rolling 24 hours, as how a campaign works
explains. A trending package buys presence on that list for 12 or 24 unbroken hours. It does not decide
what a visitor sees after the click: a chart with a steady history of trades, or one that went flat the
day before. That second part is what on-chain volume is for, and it is a different purchase.

| | Trending window | Volume session (PumpWave) |
| -------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------ | ------------------------------------------------------------------ |
| What it buys | Presence on the Dexscreener trending list for the paid hours | Trading activity on the token’s own chart for a session you size |
| Where it works | Tokens trading on a real, indexed pool | The Pump.fun bonding curve, then the Raydium pool after graduation |
| On the bonding curve | Not possible: there is no pool for the board to rank | Runs on the curve |
| Pricing | A flat package price, $399 for 12 hours on Solana | 1% of target volume as the only payment, 100 SOL minimum session |
| Length | 12 or 24 hours | 15 minutes to 10 hours |
| Does not promise | A position within the list | A trending rank |
| Custody | Wallet sign-in, one USDC payment | A session wallet you control; seed phrase never requested |

Read the table as a division of labour. The window is the reach; the volume session is the continuity.
Neither replaces the other, and buying more of one does not make up for skipping the other.

## Why the two belong together

A placement sends strangers to your token, and they judge it in seconds. The things they judge are
listed in what the end of a window changes: a name and logo, liquidity that
looks durable, somewhere to go next. A chart with no trades for the last six hours is on that list too,
even if nobody writes it down. Volume that ran before the window gives the chart a history worth reading.

The reverse also holds. Volume on its own keeps a chart moving, but the board weighs transaction count
and unique wallets alongside dollars, and a trending campaign is built and paced around exactly those
signals. A volume session is not designed to buy a place on the list, and the honest volume tools do
not claim it does.

The timing gap is the practical reason to pair them. As Solana campaigns notes,
a token still on the Pump.fun bonding curve has no pool for the board to rank, so a trending window
cannot start there. The curve phase is where a Pump.fun volume session does its work, and the first hours
after migration are where the window does its work.

## How to time the two

### Before graduation: volume on the curve

While the token trades on the bonding curve, the Pump.fun board is where attention happens. Run the
volume session here, sized to the curve rather than to a pool you do not have yet. PumpWave sessions
run from 15 minutes to 10 hours, so a session can cover the whole stretch up to migration.

### At migration: keep the chart continuous

Migration is where most charts break. Per PumpWave’s published documentation, the engine picks
up the migration block by block and re-points to the new Raydium pool inside the same session, so the
chart carries straight through instead of restarting cold on a new pair.

### The first hours after migration: open the window

This is the strongest moment for a trending window, while natural attention still exists. Entry on
Solana takes about 27 minutes, so open the window roughly 40 minutes before
any coordinated post. Entry times by network has the figures for every chain, and a
start can be scheduled up to 30 days ahead from the panel.

### During the window: do not stack

A trending campaign already runs activity behind the token for every paid hour. Running a full-size
volume session on top of it mostly spends money twice on the same hours. If you keep a session going,
keep it light, or pause it and resume when the window closes.

### After the window: cover the tail

When the paid hours end, position fades over several hours as the rolling measurement ages out. A
volume session started as the window closes keeps trades on the chart for the people still arriving.
What decides the longer run is whether real traders stayed, and no tool on either side of this page
controls that.

## Budgeting both sides

The two are priced in different units, so budget them separately rather than trying to compare them
head to head. A trending package is a fixed price per block of hours: $399 for
12 hours or $699 for 24 hours on Solana, paid once in USDC, as
set out in packages and pricing. A PumpWave session is priced as 1% of the
target volume you configure, so a 100 SOL session costs 1 SOL and a 300 SOL session costs 3 SOL, with the
exact amount shown before signing. Target volume is wallet count multiplied by average order size, which
means the levers on the volume side are the same ones that decide how the chart reads: how many wallets
trade, and how large each order is.

A sensible split for a fresh Pump.fun launch puts the trending hours on the first day after migration,
where reach matters most, and the volume budget on the curve phase and the tail after the window. If the
budget only stretches to one, choose by where the token is. Still on the curve, only volume can run.
Already migrated with an event coming, the window is the purchase that reaches new people.

## Pre-launch checklist

- Confirm the pool. The trending window needs a migrated token on a real, indexed pool. Until then, plan volume only.

- Finish the token page. Logo, name and social links set before any visitor arrives.

- Size the volume session. Target volume equals wallet count times average order size; PumpWave runs 500 to 10,000 sub-wallets with a 0.1 SOL minimum order and a 100 SOL minimum target.

- Choose the session length. Cover the gap you actually have: the curve phase, the migration, or the tail after the window.

- Hold the trending hours. Packages do not expire, so buy ahead and spend the window on an event rather than on a guess.

- Line up the announcement. Open the window about 40 minutes before the post on Solana.

- Keep the keys yours. Neither tool needs a seed phrase. Anything that asks for one is not a tool worth using.

- Watch live numbers. Track the window in the panel and the session in its own console, and adjust the next run from what you saw.

## Where PumpWave fits

For the volume half of this plan, PumpWave is the first Solana volume bot
we recommend teams look at, because its design lines up with the gaps a trending window leaves. It runs
in a browser console with no install: paste the contract address, configure, fund the fee and start,
with pause, resume and stop available at any time.

- Non-custodial. The user funds a session wallet they control; the engine derives ephemeral sub-wallets, and the unspent balance is swept back on-chain at session end.

- One fee. A flat 1% of the configured target volume covers Solana base fees, priority fees, Jito tips and sub-wallet funding. No subscription, no per-wallet charge, and the exact SOL amount is shown before signing.

- Follows the token. Bonding curve first, then the Raydium pool after graduation in the same session, with optional mirrored flow on Meteora and Orca.

- Pump.fun board layer. Optional auto-comments in 8 languages and auto-favorites, at a density you set.

- Bundled orders. Orders go out as Jito bundles over a private relay, with the buy and its paired sell landing together.

Like a trending package, it does not promise a rank; it reports live numbers. Volume buys visibility,
not valuation. PumpWave’s own guide on volume bot vs organic marketing
makes the same point from the other side: activity earns a token a look, and what people find when they
look decides the rest.

## Key takeaways

- A trending window buys reach for fixed hours; a volume session buys continuity on the chart.

- On the Pump.fun bonding curve only the volume side can run, because there is no pool to rank.

- Open the window in the first hours after migration, about 40 minutes ahead of any post.

- Do not stack a full volume session on top of a running window; use it before and after.

- PumpWave charges 1% of target volume as its only fee, with a 100 SOL minimum session.

## Questions

**Can I run a trending window while my token is still on the Pump.fun bonding curve?**

No. While a token is on the curve there is no pool for the Dexscreener board to rank. A Pump.fun volume session is how to keep the chart active until graduation; open the trending window once the token has migrated.

**Should a volume session run during the trending window?**

Usually not at full size. A trending campaign already runs activity behind the token for every paid hour, so a full session on top spends twice on the same hours. Keep it light or pause it, and use it before and after the window.

**Does a volume session put my token on the trending list?**

It is not designed to. PumpWave reports live numbers and does not promise a trending rank. Presence on the list for a fixed number of hours is what a trending package is for.

**How much does a PumpWave volume session cost?**

One flat 1% of the configured target volume, which is the only payment. The minimum session is 100 SOL of target volume, so the minimum fee is 1 SOL. The fee covers Solana base fees, priority fees, Jito tips and sub-wallet funding.

**How far ahead of an announcement should the window open?**

On Solana, about 40 minutes, because entry onto the list takes about 27 minutes. Other chains are faster; the per-network figures are on the entry times page.
